It is an almost 150-year-old family-run business built in Al Qarah Mountain caves; Dougha plays a dual role, both a storefront and a workshop. When visiting Dougha Handmade Pottery Factory, visitors can watch artisans making pottery through mud and buy souvenirs to bring home. Visitors can also try to create a pot of mud by taking control of a wheel.

The Judah Thumb - Al Ahsa

Jawatha Mosque - Hofuf, Al Ahsa

Jawatha Mosque is located in the Jawatha area. This earliest known mosque is located about 12 km northeast of Hofuf, Al Ahsa, in eastern Saudi Arabia. Most of the original structure fell into ruins. However, in 2007, most of the building was restored by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. The new design is quite similar to that of Masmak Fort in Riyadh. It is believed that this mosque holds the second Friday congregation prayer after Masjid an-Nabawi. According to legends, when Black Stone (Hajr Aswad) was stolen in 930 by Qarmatians, it was kept in this mosque and remained there for nearly 22 years. 

The mosque is a rectangular building measuring 11 x 13 m. It has an external courtyard and a canopy consisting of three corridors. The Qibla walls and a mihrab are located in the middle of the second arcade in the second gallery of the mosque. To the mosque's east are ancient ruins known as Ain Jathi or Ain Abu Hurairah.
