The agricultural area of the village spans over 40,000 cubic meters, and on these agricultural products, many villages from ancient times to the present day depend. Due to its prime location and pleasant weather, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH) has launched a rehabilitation and regional development plan to make this village an economic, tourism, and cultural resource to offer jobs to locals.  


The ancient village appears as a single castle from the outside. A special type of volcanic rock was used to build this castle, while mud bricks were used on the interior side. Tourists can visit the village every day from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, where they can admire the beautiful landscape and buy handmade souvenirs and savour popular local dishes. Children can also engage in various activities in the amusement park in the village. 


After visiting Thee Ain village, tourists can explore the Shada mountains. Shada is an Arabic word that means to 'rise' or 'soar', due to its high peaks and lush green mountains. Two mountains comprise Shada Mountain,one mountain is Shada Al Asfal and Shada al'Ala. The Shada mountains date back to the Cambrian Period. The unique feature of this place is the massive granite rocks at its peak. Shada Mountain also houses striking caves engraved with drawings and inscriptions dating back more than 3,000 years. 

Al Kharrara Waterfall

A breathtaking landscape known for its cold-water streams running through mountains and green palm trees. The most beautiful attraction in Al Baha is the Al Kharrara waterfall. It's a crystal clear waterfall that gushes amongst the sandy dunes with diverse landscapes. Also, the sandy dunes are transformed into a national park to preserve the natural habitat.
